TEHRAN (Iran News) Speaking on Tuesday at the opening ceremony of the Orbeli Forum 2025 underway in Yerevan, Pashinyan said that peace in the South Caucasus can only be fully established through continuous care and expert dialogue.

He described recent agreements between Armenia and Azerbaijan as successful outcomes of persistent diplomatic efforts of both sides. He noted that the recent agreement between Yerevan and Baku is by no means imported but rather a result of consistent efforts by both countries, which prioritize territorial integrity.

He likened the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan to a newborn that requires daily care and attention. Maintaining this newly achieved deal, according to the Prime Minister, necessitates ongoing dialogue and awareness at the levels of ordinary citizens, experts, and high-ranking officials in both nations.

Pashinyan underscored that the Orbeli Forum plays an effective role in consolidating and institutionalizing peace in the region.

He reaffirmed Armenia’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding stability in the South Caucasus, adding that the security and peace of the regional countries are deeply interconnected. “Armenian PM ”

This forum, which opened on November 4, and will run through November 14, aims to help bolster multilateral cooperation and peace-building efforts in the South Caucasus. Over 350 thinkers from Armenia, Iran, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, India, China, France, Italy, Hungary, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Germany, and the United States have attended the event.
