Araghchi condemns massacre in el-Fasher city of Sudan
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi strongly condemned the recent attacks and massacre of civilians in the Sudanese city of el-Fasher, expressing deep concern over the ongoing violence in Sudan.

TEHRAN (Iran News) Araghchi made the remarks in a telephone conversation with his Sudanese counterpart, Mohi El-Din Salem, on Friday.

The Iranian foreign minister also reaffirmed Iran’s firm support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national unity of Sudan, calling for an immediate end to the bloodshed and protection of innocent lives.

The Sudanese foreign minister, for his part, briefed Araghchi on the latest developments in his country and expressed appreciation for Iran’s continued backing of Sudan’s legitimate government and solidarity with its people.

Both foreign ministers welcomed the growing progress in bilateral ties and reaffirmed the determination of Tehran and Khartoum to expand cooperation in various fields.
