Iran Showcases Innovation at GITEX 2025
TEHRAN (Iran News) The event, which runs through October 17, is being held with the official authorization of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran and organized by the Iran Federation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), with support from several industry associations.
Located in Hall 14, Iranian teams are presenting their latest achievements across diverse fields including artificial intelligence, fintech, cybersecurity, blockchain, and digital health. Their participation reflects Iran’s growing technological capabilities and the vibrancy of its innovation ecosystem.
During the first two days of GITEX 2025, several prominent Iranian economic figures visited the pavilion, including Mohammadreza Talaei, Afshin Kolahi, Ali Masoudi, and Saeed Rasoulaf (members of the ICT Federation Board), Farzin Ferdis (Vice President of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce), and Mehdi Karbasian, former Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade.
Company executives expressed satisfaction with the strong and enthusiastic reception received at the Iranian Pavilion, describing the turnout as “beyond expectations.” They also praised the ICT Federation’s efforts in organizing Iran’s participation and underscored the strategic value of GITEX for identifying business opportunities in the region and beyond—particularly amid ongoing economic challenges and sanctions.
