TEHRAN (Iran News) Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Farzaneh Sadegh, has emphasized equal opportunities for women as the school year begins in the country.
Attending a ceremony in a school in Tabriz, Iran, on Tuesday to mark the beginning of the school year in the country, Sadegh highlighted the role women play in society.
She reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to gender equality, noting that women and girls in Iran face no restrictions or discriminations in their path to progress.
Sadegh encouraged young women to embrace their role as active participants in shaping the future of the country.
Earlier today, Masoud Pezeshkian attended a ceremony at a school in western Tehran to mark the symbolic start of the new school year nationwide.
In a related development, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei has commemorated the beginning of Iran’s new school year with solemn remembrance of the tens of schoolchildren killed in Israeli aggression against Iran in mid-June.
