President Pezeshkian to visit Pakistan on Saturday
TEHRAN (Iran News) Mehdi Sanaei, political advisor to President Masoud Pezeshkian, says he will visit Pakistan in the coming days.
Sanaei said on his X account on Wednesday that President Pezeshkian will travel to Pakistan on Saturday at the official invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to the advisor, official meetings and discussions with cultural and business elites are planned during the president’s stay in Islamabad.
Relations between the two countries encompass political, economic, religious, and cultural dimensions. The development of provincial and border cooperation, as well as increasing trade from the current $3 billion, are among the objectives of the visit, the advisor concluded.
