Iranian nation will withstand all forms of bullying: Foreign Ministry spokesperson
TEHRAN (Iran News) Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei says the Iranian nation is determined to stand against any external threats and coercion.
Baqaei made the remarks during a memorial held in Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh, a town located in the northern Province of Gilan, where five citizens were laid to rest after being killed in the Israeli airstrike.
Baqaei paid tribute to the martyred civilians, including women, children, and elderly individuals, terming the attack as shocking in its cruelty and a clear war crime.
He emphasized that the measures are unjustifiable under any standard of international law or morality.
The Iranian people, he said, stand firm against any form of bullying or threat.
Assassination of Iranian scientists is considered cowardly acts that expose the desperation of those who seek to undermine Iran’s scientific advancements.
On June 13, the Israeli regime started airstrikes on Iran, including its nuclear facilities, killing hundreds of scientists, military personnel and civilians. The United States joined the regime’s war against Iran by attacking nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan on June 22.
