Industrial Leaders Stand Firm Behind Supreme Leader Amid Conflict
TEHRAN (Iran News) Arman Khaleghi, Secretary-General of the House of Industry, Mine, and Trade of Iran, stated in an interview with IRNA that amid what he described as a “Zionist-imposed war,” Iranian producers are firmly united behind the Supreme Leader, ready to meet the country’s needs until the last moment.
Khaleghi emphasized that the recent remarks by Ayatollah Khamenei, calling for national unity and resilience, had significantly boosted public morale. “The Supreme Leader’s message has strengthened the people’s resolve and unity more than ever. Producers and industrialists are standing with the people and working tirelessly to support them,” he said.
As Iran faces external pressures and the threat of further destabilization, Khaleghi insisted that the nation’s manufacturing and industrial sectors remain fully operational. “Despite the hostile ambitions of our enemies, who are targeting our national interests, our people are more united than ever. Nothing can fracture this solidarity,” he added.
Khaleghi drew comparisons between the current situation and the eight-year Iran-Iraq war, known as the “Sacred Defense,” stating that Iranian producers are again displaying admirable resilience and sacrifice. “Not a single sector has halted production. Instead, they are actively providing for the population’s essential needs, ensuring that no shortages are felt.”
Despite the burden of economic sanctions, Khaleghi stressed that Iran’s industry continues to operate effectively. He acknowledged that differences exist among various social groups, but said that economic pressures have driven the people to transcend internal disputes in the interest of national unity.
Highlighting collaboration across key economic sectors, Khaleghi revealed that a nationwide communication network has been established among industrialists and miners. “These professionals have pledged their full cooperation, offering all necessary support to the nation. Their commitment reflects their role not just as businesspeople, but as defenders of the country’s future.”
Khaleghi accused Israel of trying to exploit the conflict for its own ends but claimed that Iran’s unified stance has thwarted such efforts. “The Zionist regime launched this cowardly war hoping to weaken our resolve. But our people have shown that they will not allow our unity or national interests to be compromised.””Mine”
Tensions escalated dramatically on Friday, June 13 (23 Khordad in the Iranian calendar), when Israel launched a series of attacks on Tehran and other Iranian cities.”Mine”
In response, Iran launched “Operation True Promise 3” later that same evening, firing dozens of missiles at military and strategic targets within Israeli-occupied territories. The large-scale retaliatory strike included long-range missiles and a coordinated wave of attack and suicide drones targeting command centers and weapons facilities.
In a televised address that night, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei declared, “Our armed forces will render the Zionist regime miserable. God willing, with decisive action, we will make life bitter for them, and there will be no leniency.”
In a second address, the Supreme Leader underscored that the Iranian nation would remain steadfast not only in the face of military aggression but also against imposed diplomatic arrangements. “Just as we will not bow to a forced war, we will also not accept a forced peace. This nation will never surrender to coercion.”
