Araqchi: Powerful Iranian nation will resist until last drop of blood
TEHRAN (Iran News) Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi says the Iranian people will not allow anyone to decide their destiny and will remain steadfast on this path until the last drop of their blood.
Araqchi made the comment early on Sunday, a day after hundreds of thousands of mourners held a funeral procession in the capital, Tehran, for 60 people killed in the latest Israeli aggression against Iran.
“Once again, the Great People of Iran are exhibiting their Remarkable Strength and Resilience to the world,” the top diplomat wrote on his X account.
“The Wave after Wave of Patriots who took to the streets in Iran to honor military commanders, scientists, researchers and civilians including women and children murdered in cold blood by the Cowardly Israeli regime, all have one message: Unlike the Feeble Israeli regime, we do NOT hide our losses; we are PROUD of our MARTYRS, who are our role models. For every fallen officer or scientist, Rest Assured 100 More Are Lining Up To Take Their Places,” he added.
Araqchi further said in his post that the Iranian people will not allow anyone to decide their fate.
“Until the Last Drop of Blood, the Powerful and Resilient Iranian Nation will Resist whoever attempts to decide OUR destiny,” Araqchi stressed.
The Israeli regime launched an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on June 13, killing over 600 people, including top military commanders, scientists, and civilians.
The attacks prompted Iran to retaliate, with the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (I.R.G.C.) launching 22 waves of missile strikes as part of the Operation True Promise 3, inflicting a significant damage to the occupied territories.
On June 22, the United States joined Israel, and in coordination with the regime, attacked three Iranian nuclear sites in violation of international law, prompting global condemnations.
