Dabiri: A bill to increase the security of trade between Iran, Russia has been submitted
The Deputy President for Parliamentary Affairs announced the submission of a bill on an agreement between the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the government of the Russian Federation on mutual recognition of authorized economic operators’ programs to the Islamic Consultative Assembly.

TEHRAN (Iran News) Shahram Dabiri, explaining the necessity of submitting a bill to improve the security of Iran-Russia foreign trade to the Assembly, stated: Given the significant role of the authorized economic operators’ program in promoting and strengthening the level of bilateral cooperation and accelerating and facilitating legal trade, this bill has been submitted.

He added: Improving the security of foreign trade between the two countries, eliminating networks of smuggling goods, currency, drugs, commercial fraud, and preventing the transfer of funds from these illegal actions are among the goals of this agreement.

He noted: The government has submitted the bill on an agreement between the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the government of the Russian Federation on mutual recognition of authorized economic operators’ programs to the Islamic Consultative Assembly for the relevant legal formalities.

The Deputy for Presidential Affairs added: Creating a legal framework for increasing healthy trade between citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation is one of the country’s strategic goals in organizing foreign trade.
