Iran’s Exports to Europe Grow by 5%
TEHRAN - According to Eurostat data, trade between Iran and the European Union reached €4.15 billion in the first 11 months of 2024, marking a 3% decrease compared to the same period last year. Of this amount, EU exports to Iran accounted for €3.37 billion, reflecting a 4% decline, while Iran's exports to Europe grew by 5%, reaching €773 million.

TEHRAN (Iran News) In November 2024, Iran-EU trade volume amounted to €377 million, representing a 19% decline compared to €467 million in the same month last year. European exports to Iran fell by 22%, dropping from €383 million to €299 million. Conversely, Iran’s exports to Europe increased by 7% compared to the same month last year, rising from €84 million to €78 million.

The leading export category from Iran to the EU, based on the SITC classification, was food and livestock, which experienced a 20% increase and reached a value of €270 million. Meanwhile, the primary EU export category to Iran—vehicles and industrial machinery—declined by 7%, amounting to €1.18 billion.

Germany remains Iran’s top trading partner in Europe, followed by Italy, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
