TEHRAN (Iran News)Mohammad Rezvanifar said Iran’s balance of trade with oil included reached +$14 billion in this period.
The IRICA chief noted that $18.5 billion of products were imported into the country between March 21 and July 22, 2024, showing a six percent decline compared to last year’s corresponding period.
He further pointed out that the export of non-oil products registered an eight percent growth in this period compared to the same period last year.
The IRICA chief put the country’s balance of trade with oil excluded at -$1 billion.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Rezvanifar noted that $800 million of gold ingots were imported into the country from March 21 to July 22, 2024.
Regarding the export of petrochemicals, Rezvanifar added that $7.7 billion of petrochemicals were exported from the country in this period.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE), China, Turkey, Germany and India were the main countries importing Iranian products in the first four months of this year, he added.
