TEHRAN (Iran News) –Mohammad Shirijian said that according to the balance of payments of the Central Bank of Iran, Iran exported about $100 billion of goods from March 21, 2023, to March 19, 2024, showing a three percent hike compared to a year earlier.
He added that $80 billion of products were imported into the country last year, registering a 6.2 percent hike compared to a year before, IRNA reported.
The deputy CBI governor put the total trade turnover of the country in the previous Iranian calendar year at $180 billion.
Earlier, the statistics for Iran’s trade exchanges showed that the export of non-oil products to neighboring countries has risen by 15% in the first two months of the current Iranian year (started on March 20, 2024).
