The Iranian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the Israeli slaughter of people at the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, warning that inaction on the Zionist regime’s war crimes and violation of international law will encourage it to continue the massacre of Palestinians.

TEHRAN (Iran News) –In a statement on Saturday, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani strongly condemned the heinous crimes of the Zionist regime at Nusairat refugee camp.

He said the massacre of hundreds of Palestinians, including women and children, at the camp is the result of inaction on the part of governments and responsible international organizations such as the UN Security Council in the face of eight months of war crimes and violation of all international humanitarian laws by the occupying regime in Gaza.

Kanaani added that the persistence of this inaction would be tantamount to the encouragement of the criminals to continue their genocidal war against Palestinians, the Foreign Ministry’s website reported.

He noted that the slaughtered bodies of Palestinian citizens and children lying in dirt and blood is the result of the continued injection of American and European bombs and missiles into the Zionist regime’s arsenals and the continued support of the US and some European countries for the Israeli regime.

This is while the innocent Palestinians, especially the oppressed children of Gaza, are under the brutal bombings and endure the pain and suffering of hunger, thirst, and lack of medicine and medical equipment caused by the Israeli siege, the spokesman said.

Kanaani stressed that in this deplorable situation, as the world is witnessing the absolute ineffectiveness of international organizations when it comes to defending the Palestinian people, the Islamic countries have a heavy responsibility and must stand united against such acts and fulfill their human, moral and Islamic responsibility.

At least 210 Palestinians have been killed and more than 400 others wounded in Israeli attacks on Deir el-Balah and Nuseirat in central Gaza.

At least 36,801 people have been killed and 83,680 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza since October 7, 2023.
