TEHRAN (Iran News) –A female Iranian jimmy jump, apparently a fan of Esteghlal FC’s, on Friday jumped down the fence between the spectators and the pitch to meet goalie of the Blues Seyed Hossein Hosseini after the referee whistled the end of the match against Aluminum FC in the central city of Araak.
The woman was stopped by the security outside the pitch. But Hosseini ran toward the fan and hugged her for a moment before the security and the Iranian Football Federation officials made him and other Esteghlal players leave the pitch.
Reports say Esteghlal’s goalkeeper gave his shirt to the jimmy jump.
Police and Esteghlal FC have not yet commented on the issue.
