New Ambassador of Pakistan in Tehran
TEHRAN - Mr. Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, a veteran diplomat of Pakistan’s Foreign Service, arrived Tehran on Saturday to assume his responsibilities as Pakistan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Iran.

TEHRAN (Iran News) He has served at Pakistan embassies in Washington, Beijing, and Tokyo holding key assignments. He has also served as Pakistan’s Consul General to Chengdu.

Among his other positions, he has also served as Director General (China) and Additional Secretary (Americas) at the Foreign Ministry.

He has spoken at the World Economic Forum Davos and has delivered lectures at some of the key universities of the US and at Pakistan’s premier training institutions. He had also been Editor of the Civil Services Academy magazine – the Aurora. He has also written for Pakistani and Chinese newspapers on a variety of issues.

Mr. Mudassir is graduate of Oxford University and has a great interest in Persian literature and history.
