TEHRAN (Iran News) – An exhibition of items for people in isolation designed by students of University of Tehran will be opened on 19 June 2022 at 5.00 pm at the Tehran Gallery of the University of Tehran. Young Iranian creators produced items that support human wellbeing with regard to isolation and reduced social contacts, answering current social challenges using modern technologies. The Embassy of Poland in Tehran financed the prototypes. The works have been inspired by lectures and discussions with researchers from Poland during Polish Design Summer School 2021.
During the opening the key note speech will be delivered by Dr Joanna Jurga, a Polish industrial designer and university lecturer. Dr Jurga will lead industrial design workshop for students of the University of Tehran on 19-20 June.
The exhibition and the workshop are a part of an academic-cultural cooperation on industrial design between the Embassy and the University which began in 2020.
