Head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization's (TPO) Central Asia Bureau Mr. Rahmatollah Khormali broke the news that last month a meeting for broadening trade ties between Iran and Kyrgyzstan was held.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization’s (TPO) Central Asia Bureau Mr. Rahmatollah Khormali broke the news that last month a meeting for broadening trade ties between Iran and Kyrgyzstan was held.

In this meeting, Khormali pointed to the capabilities and potentials of the two countries and called for developing bilateral trade ties more than ever and to provide the ground for financial transfer as well as increasing the direct flights between the two countries in line with supporting the traders.

He then pointed to the issues discussed in this gathering like introducing the investment projects in Kyrgyzstan, membership of Kyrgyzstan in the WTO and Eurasian Economic Union, as well as other advantages of this Central Asian country which are good opportunities for boosting bilateral cooperation.

In the meeting, Khormali pointed to the significance of holding the 13th joint economic commission, holding specialized Iran exhibition in Kyrgyzstan, developing cooperation in the fields of agriculture and transportation.

This meeting was held in Tehran in-person and online with presence of the ambassadors of the two countries as well as economic traders.
