Iran Volleyball Super League Postponed for Two Weeks
Iran Volleyball Super League has been postponed due to the third wave of COVID-19.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Iran Volleyball Super League has been postponed due to the third wave of COVID-19.

The competition has been canceled in order to cut chain of coronavirus’ spread, Iranvolleyball.com reported.

The new season started on September 9 and Foolad Sirjan sits top of the table at the end of Matchday 7.

The daily death toll from coronavirus infection in Iran has exceeded 200 in recent days, while the total number of cases since the outbreak of the disease in the country is nearing 500,000.

More than 28,000 COVID-19 patients have died in Iran since February.
