TEHRAN (Iran News) – Iran international forward Karim Ansarifard joined Greek giant AEK Athens.
The 30-year-old completed a move from Qatari club Al-Sailiya to Olympiacos’ city rival on Tuesday, where he signed a three-year deal in the capital.
Ansarifard penned a two-year contract in Qatar after leaving Forest in July last year, but just over 12 months into his stay in Doha, has opted for a return to Europe where he’ll earn a 600,000 euro bonus.
Ansarifard has also played in Greek football team Panionios.
He was a member of Team Melli at the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cups.
