TEHRAN (Iran News) – Iranian Ambassador in Kabul Bahador Aminian handed over a shipment of medical assistance of Iran to Afghanistan’s Ministry of Health on July 29.
The cargo, valued at 75,000 euros, was delivered to the deputy health minister of Afghanistan who appreciated Iran for supporting Kabul to fight the outbreak of coronavirus, IRNA reported.
This shipment included four types of diagnostic kits, ventilator devices, thermometers, pulse oximetry devices, N95 masks, and disinfectants weighing 1.1 tons.
Another planeload of Iran’s medical aid was sent to Afghanistan on May 26. It included face masks, disinfectants, and gloves, as well as hospital supplies, donated by the people and the private sector of Iran to the people of Afghanistan.
Moreover, Iran had previously provided the Afghan government with 2,000 coronavirus detection kits which were used in western province of Herat.
