“Days of People” Turned Into “Days of God”

Friday, February 21, 2020, sealed another epic in the history of Islamic Iran. It showed that this country totally differs from other ones. The country is involved in different incidents and events every day and night that on cannot see like them in other countries. If we stand a little further, we can witness the scene of any-moment battle of right and wrong, even with these materialistic eyes which are unable to see heavenly things. The tool for seeing is distinguishing the right from the wrong. But many are unable to recognize that this existing challenge is whether a challenge or not. Most people are unable to recognize if it is a challenge,  what is for.

Most people assume themselves one side of the challenge and they are at odd and clash with the opposite side, and they consider themselves very “right”. That what is “right” has different meanings in different minds and beliefs. Of course it is not an easy task. Let’s give an example to clear the issue.  Let’s compare one who does not know carpet with someone who is expert in carpet and we take both of them to a see rug.

The one who is not expert in carpet can only do its best to express his views on the appearance, design and color of the rug but the one who has spent many years of life in the carpet, with a glance and in the shortest time, find defects and any disharmony and structural problems of the rug and even he can rate the quality of the rug and price the rug.

This short example does authenticate the logic of cognition. Cognition of right needs experience and research, and in some cases it needs wise taqlid (imitation). Sometimes people consider taqlid a bad and misleading act but in the culture and divine logic, blind imitation is abhorred, and wise imitation out of sincerity and without any love and loathing is perhaps considered a duty. Because one cannot be master of all sciences and knowledge, imitation or following the expert and scientist and his prescription is considered a rational act by matured and wise people.

Yesterday Friday 2, Iran witnessed its eleventh parliament elections. Since months ago, enemies had mobilized all of its power in their media to discourage the nation from turning out in the poll stations but all saw that how “right” was distinguished from the wrong. Of course some people were deceived by the enemies and did not vote but majority went to polls to turn “days of people” into “days of God” with their epic move.

Almighty God in the Holy Quran says fate of any nation is determined by itself as He says in the Verse 11 of Chapter 13 Ar-Ra’d (The Thunder) of Holy Quran, “For each one are successive [angels] before and behind him who protect him by the decree of Allah . Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron.”

This can be interpreted as those who do not believe in God act in their affairs based on what they deserve but those who believe in God and Holy Quran and follow God’s recommendations will have open eyes and insight regarding their paths on the roads of their lives and they can have more comprehensive evaluation.

Hence, Muslim Iranian people once again disappointed enemies and turned their days into God’s days and they depicted vigilantly a brighter history of themselves and wrote a new page in history in favor of strugglers on the road “right”.

What yesterday happened in any part of the country is indicator of God’s support of the nation. It was an indication of Iranian nation’s hope to the creator of good life. So, one can rightly say well done to the nation who endured financial and life hardship in order to show immortality of the country to the world.  Days of people turned into days of God. God willing, right and justice will show itself in Iran because this election was held in the climate of belief in right and justice and it has frustrated enemies for materializing their goals.
