The Pishgaman Cooperative was founded in October 1996 by a group of elites from Yazd, Iran, with a reliance on collective wisdom and a firm belief in the Quranic verse, “cooperate in righteousness and piety” to create a safe and prosperous space for economic activity and to create jobs for the children of their land, which is indeed the noblest deed of all.

Although starting out as a rather small ICT cooperative, thanks to God’s grace and the helping hands of the people who believed in cooperation, the Pishgaman Cooperative has today become a vigorous and fruitful tree which, with trust in His holy presence, will flourish more every day.

Through the merit of cooperation and the sincere support of its shareholders, the Pishgaman Cooperative has proven itself in action and believes that it will achieve all of its goals as a cooperative through faith in God, thoughtfulness, and commitment.

With a 23-year-long shining record of working in Iran’s cooperative sector and receiving various accolades in the economy- and society-related areas, the Pishgaman Cooperative works constantly to fulfill a constructive role in Iran’s economy with the support of the public.

By operating cooperatively, working in the area of social justice, attracting the general public’s micro-investments, developing ideas interesting to the society as well as providing electronic and communication services, manufacturing the related artifacts, and acquiring exclusive rights to optical fibers under the international waters, the Pishgaman Cooperative has managed to broaden its scope of service across the country and at the same time introduced new lines of activity in various fields.
