Judiciary Chief Calls for Supporting Production Boom

IRAN NEWS NATIONAL DESK

According To Iran News, Judiciary Chief said that the production boom must be a top priority in assigning financial credits.

Speaking at the conference on the ‘Role of Security in the National Economy and Production Boom’ in Tehran yesterday, Hojjatoleslam Seyed Ebrahim Raisi said, “If there are funds in the country, the priority is with production.”

He stressed that the manufacturers should be receiving credits, not the dealers, adding: “The security and economy cannot be separated.”

“The production and economic boom must be accompanied by security. The producer and the entrepreneur must play their role in the production boom with a sense of security”, he added.

“Today, fighting against corruption is essential for economic prosperity and all economic elements must play a role in ensuring economic security,” he underscored.

He went on to say: “We need to be sensitive to any corruption that pollutes the economic space so that we can secure the economic space with the help of economic activists.”

In another part of his remarks, he said that power in the economy depends on two factors: overcoming barriers to production and supporting production.

“Protecting production is not by just word, the support must be legal, financial, and the banking system. Money should be allocated to the manufacturing sector, not the nonproductive sector. At the same time, judicial support must also be given to production”, he highlighted.

“Of course, our economy should interact with other countries but we should not rely on foreigners. Economics should not be conditional on the support of outsiders because experience has shown that this approach is wrong,” Judiciary Chief continued.

In another part of his speech at the conference, Raisi said, “Our economy’ dependence on oil is another problem that does not allow the economy to grow and decision-makers need to address this problem.”

He added, “In Iran, investment in dealing and nonproductive sectors is more attractive than manufacturing sectors, but there should also be attractiveness in manufacturing investment.”

Increasing imports and smuggling of goods, corruption, and bribes make the producer uneasy and anxious, according to Raisi.

“Europe is in the U.S.-influenced economy. Americans want control of production so they can control the world economy”, he added.

“Today, Iran is embarking on a new business plan through Resisting Economy that relies on our own control and systems, but Americans and Europeans are seeking not to allow this independent economy to grow. This is where our economic war begins”, Raisi concluded.

The conference on the ‘Role of Security in the National Economy and Production Boom’ was held at the I. R. I. International Conference Hall (Ejlas).
