Iranian FM Urges Closer Economic Ties with Oman
According To Iran News, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif called for efforts to promote economic cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman.
In a meeting with Oman’s Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy, held in Tehran on Sunday, Foreign Minister Zarif highlighted Iran and Oman’s great potential for cooperation in various spheres, and stressed the need for growing economic cooperation between the two states.
For his part, the Omani minister gave a report about the most recent session of Joint Commission of Iran-Oman Economic Cooperation.
He also pointed to the achievements of the Joint Commission of Economic Cooperation, and explained the latest status of the bilateral economic ties.
Al Sunaidy, who is also the Omani chairman of the Joint Commission of Economic Cooperation between Iran and the Sultanate of Oman, has paid a visit to Iran for the 18th session of the Joint Commission.
