North Oil Terminal the Most Advanced One in Caspian Sea
TEHRAN – The CEO of Iranian Oil Terminals Company (IOTC) says Neka Oil Terminal is one of the most modern oil terminals in the Caspian Sea and it is equipped with the most advanced standard facilities and measuring instruments.

Speaking among the senior officials of Neka Oil Terminal, Mr. Abbas Asadrouz praised Neka Oil Terminal’s equality and its facilities.

He added that the project for launching the terminal has been based on the storage and blending operation (receiving crude oil, measuring, sampling, storing and miscibility) and it has all necessary facilities for carrying out crude oil swap operation.

He went on to say that the terminal has been built by National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction Company and it has been handed over to the NIOTC since 2003 for swap operation.

Asadrouz also noted that the north oil terminal with 3 docks and necessary installations as well as advanced measuring instruments, reservoir equipped with automatic fire extinguishing system and its waste water treatment system, is undoubtedly one of the most advanced terminals in the Caspian Sea.

He reiterated that Iran is undoubtedly the safest and economic route for transportation of crude oil and north oil terminal can help a great deal to this process.
