“War Show” a Breakthrough for Trade Route
“War Show” a Breakthrough for Trade Route
Over one month has passed since the tension between Tehran and Washington escalated due to the U.S. excessive demands. The U.S. President and his Vices who had not any political, military or strategic experience and insight to lead a country like the U.S., have tried with their business-minded approaches to administer their country and the world like an enterprise.

A middlemanship approach to the process of events ahead of them has created a climate for premature contrition for the White House. The White House had formed a team for the mission which has been described in Iran as “B-Team” (The Hawkish B-Team is comprised of U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Zayed al Nahyan).

U.S. President Donald Trump has been enforcing proposals of B-Team step by step since May 8 2018 but they had never imagined in their own world that there was a country in the world which could defy those steps without retreating even one step from its resistance policies to continue its own way and to become a major challenge for the U.S. strategies.

By the failure of any step in the policies attributed to the B-Team, Trump was forced to lift options from the table one after the other and now he deplores why he has depleted the table in a way that one of Iranian media outlet has said even the most craziest diplomats in the world are not ready to sit behind the table and talk about the burned options. The U.S. officials thought that they could frighten Iranian officials and bring them to the negotiation tables with mixing some old and threadbare strategies, or with the initiative of their unusual and inexperienced to political and military stance President, as well as dispatching warships and launching a media and psycho war.

Dispatch of one aircraft carrier, while in some period of times the number of carriers in the region and around Iran used to be four to pursue their mission, and even sending their B-52 bombers which were the best target for Iranian missiles was the climax of the U.S. military action. Even dispatch of B-52 bombers failed to frighten Iranians because for more than a decade, Iran has been challenging with strategic F-22 jet fighters in the Persian Gulf and regional states as they have lost their valuable drones. They should at least have learned “not to threaten Iran and Iranians” until now.

When on May 3 and just days before suspending the JCPOA undertakings, Americans sent a letter to Tehran and in their letter began threatening Iran. Iran’s Supreme Defense Council by making a brave decision and by writing a letter to Europeans, who are still committed to the JCPOA, threatened them and made them react.

The interesting thing is that in Tehran, nobody replied to the Americans’ letter, and necessary orders and decisions came from the operation room to show the sharpness of Iranian sword to the enemies through threat versus threat, and this harmony was provided by an order that government officials should not involve in answering to those military threats and war-related issues and they were just assigned to be focused on the economic issues. Foreign Ministry was the only government body which was assigned to boost efforts for conveying Iran’s policies to leaders of the regional states or the world.

In this period, some important events happened and came on the spotlight in the media: First attack on the UAE’s oil tankers; Second, attack on the oil transfer pipeline in Saudi Arabia; Third, firing of some projectiles towards U.S. Embassy in the green zone in Baghdad. Of course some more incidents happened which were not reflected in the media. Although nobody accepted the responsibility for the first event, some countries pointed their fingers towards Iran while Iran itself claimed it was a sabotage to accuse Tehran. But these events together had frightened the White House and one could see the pale faces of U.S. officials during their contradictory remarks in their interviews. From the dispute between Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and John Bolton and hasty withdrawals of Trump, it became completely clear that all of this puppet show was a “war show” in order to open the way for trade while they are negligent that the trade route with Iran is open to all American companies especially those companies which have offices or even representatives in Europe and in the region and they do not need such preparations and logistics. It is better they revoke their one-sided economic sanctions and test the route for entry of their companies to Iran’s market.
