No Stamps on Passports for Attracting More Tourists
TEHRAN - Foreign tourists can visit Iran without their passports being stamped, said spokesman of the Government Ali Rabiei on Wednesday.

President Hassan Rouhani assigned the airport police not to stamp passports of foreign tourists. Taking into consideration the fact that the U.S. is practicing the economic terrorism plans and people who travel to Iran may feel a bit afraid that they may be pressured by the U.S.”

He added that this can invite more tourists to Iran.

By this way, Iran wants to increase the number of tourists coming to the country, he added.

Violating the international law and the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2231, which endorsed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, Donald Trump on May 8, 2018 withdraw from the 2015 international nuclear deal, and restored and extended wrongful sanctions.

The spokesman also said that the President has ordered his ministers and deputy ministers to talk with people and there will be more direct talks between officials and the people.

Rabiei reiterated that officials in the ministries are to visit provinces and cities to get acquainted with people’s problems.

He went on to say that the education ministry has plans for leisure time of students in the summer and some related organs like IRIB are working on some programs for the leisure time of students which will be announced soon.

On recent fires in jungles in the country, Rabiei refuted that those fires have been intentional and they have been conspiracy, adding that related officials have blamed recent rains in the forest areas for recent fires.

He added that all related organizations are ready extinguishing the fires by using helicopters and other equipment.

Rabiei also reiterated that the government has left ban for imports of cars for the disabled, adding that the government allowed imports of 500 vehicles for the disabled annually.
