But Europe was  actually equivocating, buying time and telling a lie because the claim was raised while Iran was fully committed to the JCPOA and Europe, from the day one, did not meet any one of its obligations.

At that time experts and analysts, all far-seeing people, those who were concerned and even Europologists emphasized that according to the article 36 of the JCPOA and in case one party in the agreement does not meet its obligation, Iran is entitled to stop its reverse obligations and to ignore the JCPOA. But unfortunately Iranian statesmen who used to emphasize Iran’s immediate and unimaginable response before the U.S. pullout from the JCPOA, in contemplative remarks said, “A pesky being has left the JCPOA and we remain committed to the deal and continue it with other signatories of the deal.”

In some stage, the European signatories of the JCPOA (UK, France and Germany) agreed to meet Iran’s demands according to the deal and they were to guarantee implementation of their obligations. But the European side not only dodged giving guarantees but also joined the U.S. in meeting their obligations regarding the JCPOA and from the first day, they once and again proved they follow the U.S. path by issuing useless and later insidious statements.

Since May 8, 2018 when the U.S. left the JCPOA, Iran has met all of its obligations regarding the JCPOA in compliance to the Europe’s demand led by vicious UK. But in return, Europe used to deliver nothing but a fist of void promises till Iran’s Supreme National Security Council issued a statement on the anniversary of the U.S. pullout of the JCPOA. In some part of the statement, it emphasized, “The remaining countries will be given sixty days to fulfil their obligations, especially in banking and oil fields. If they fail to meet Iran’s demands in the time given, then Iran will suspend compliance with the uranium enrichment limits and measures to modernize the Arak Heavy Water Reactor.”

This letter in a form of letter from President Hassan Rouhani was sent to leaders of 4+1 and it was ultimately a minimum and late reaction to breaching obligations regarding the JCPOA which came under public opinion pressure in the country. Of course since the statement was issued by the SNSC, it was somewhat an important act and effective one.

This shift, in the approach of the establishment towards the performance of the government and its rhetoric, caused a bustle among the U.S. and European sides. The Americans in the first step retreated their boasting about military attack and they said they were not after war. In the second step, the U.S. President Donald Trump pleadingly gave his telephone number and sat waiting for Iranian officials to contact him. Bu it does not end here. American officials dispatched mediators from Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Oman and some other countries and all of them called for negotiations with the U.S.

Later, reactions of European officials came and they were forced to say that they would operationalize their financial mechanism INSTEX in the shortest time and it was because of Iran’s resistance. Retreatments of the American and European officials after the SNSC’s statement were contemplative and it proved to Iranians and the world for the thousandth time that enemies will never leave resorting to trick and hypocrisy. First by boasting about military action against the country and in case it fails, they use another trick of alluring and deceitful proposals like announcing readiness for negotiations. The current process, in line with Iran’s deadline on the JCPOA, should continue strongly and without a pause and in the next stages, it should be accelerated.

The Islamic Republic establishment of Iran should adopt formidable approach towards the U.S. and its servile allies by relying on self-belief and employing huge domestic capabilities; and by relying on God’s promise, it should disappoint enemies and thwarting their vicious plots more than ever.

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution during his meeting with government officials in May pointed to the confrontation of the Islamic Republic with enemies by saying, “This confrontation is the confrontation of willpowers. And our willpower is stronger than theirs. We are reliant on God, therefore, the future will be a good future, God willing.”

When the eleventh government took office, I wrote an article where I warned about the nuclear talks (The title of article: We Sent Children to the War Front/Unaware of Teeth for Whale) because I definitely knew that the opposite side is hypocrite and our team was liberal and western-minded  (suppose it has no other hidden ties) and these two sides are not balanced in terms of weight and today the innocent and damaged Islamic Republic of Iran is forced to endure Europe’s play of words and bullying because of the unsuccessful performance of Iran’s nuclear negotiating team. The country has been hit by the stick and sees the club over its head and it indicates that you must lie on the bed you have made.
