TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sareh Javanmardi from Iran claimed a gold medal at the P2 – Women’s 10M Air Pistol – SH1 of the 2018 Asian Para Games on Tuesday.
Javanmardi defeated her compatriot Samira Eram in the final to win the gold medal with 237.6 points.
The bronze medal went to Sarah Al-Shabani from Iraq.
Javanmardi had won a gold medal at the Mixed 50M Free Pistol – SH1 on Monday.
About 3,000 athletes with disabilities from a record 43 countries and territories are taking part in the games that opened in the Indonesian capital on Saturday.
The Asian Para Games will run through October 13.
