Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi said “the persistence of the daily crimes of intruders and the silence of the international community has worsen the situation of Yemeni people.”
Denouncing the Saudi-led coalition’s air strikes on a fish market and the entrance to a nearby hospital in Yemeni port city of Hudaydah on Thursday which claimed the lives of at least 20 innocent people and wounding dozens more, Ghasemi said “Saudi and its allies’ atrocities in Yemen indicates their persistence in committing genocide and horrible crimes in Yemen.”
“Blasting, killing and taking revenge from the innocent people and attacking civilian targets such as hospitals, houses and public places to compensate for Saudi Arabia and its allies’ prolonged failures in Yemen is nothing but a war crime, and the silence of the international community has worsen the situation of civilians in the war-torn Yemen,” he noted.
