Enhancing the bilateral ties between Iran and China can neutralize US unilateral sanctions, said Chinese ambassador to Iran Pang Sen.
He made the remarks on Sunday in Tehran while meeting Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the head of Iran-China parliamentary friendship group.
The Chinese envoy highlighted the importance of preserving parliamentary ties between Iran and China, adding that these bilateral ties completely conforms with international regulations.
He went on to say that China is opposed to US unilateral sanctions against Iran, adding that his country will continue bilateral cooperation with Iran.
Boroujerdi, for his part, said that the trade war ignited by US President Donald Trump has deformed the structure of international relations and this will surely harm US.
He also touched upon the increased level of ties between the two nations, hoping that this trend would continue faster and more powerful than before.
Boroujerdi also appreciated recent China’s stance towards continuation of ties with Iran, especially regarding oil cooperation, and called for holding more specialist meetings between the two countries’ parliaments for boosting relations.
