Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Shariatmadari arrived in Turkey’s capital Ankara on Monday to attend the presidential oath ceremony of Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Shariatmadari will be Islamic Republic of Iran’s representative in the ceremony where dozens of foreign leaders and dignitaries will also be present including Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The ceremony will be held today in Turkey’s parliament where Erdogan is set to be sworn as president after his victory in last month’s election.
