Iranian rowers gained 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Rowing Junior Championships, held in Chungju, South Korea.
On the last day of the competitions, Kimia Zarei and Forugh Aghabalazadeh clocked 7:42.937 minutes in the women’s doubles final to stand after China’s representatives and gain the silver.
Also, Haniyeh Bidad, representing Iran in the women’s singles category, finished in 8:34.147 minutes to receive bronze medal.
Iranian squad snatched 2 gold medals by Reza Ghahremani in men’s singles category and Milad Allahverdian and Shirzad Qaderi in men’s doubles.
Furthermore, Iran’s four-a-side team comprising Asra Javanmardi, Kimiya Zarei, Forough Aghabalazadeh and Haniyeh Bidad received another silver for their country.
