TEHRAN- Iran’s fishery output stood at more than 1.15 million tons in the past Iranian calendar year (which ended on March 20, 2018), Hassan Salehi, the head of Iran’s Fisheries Organization, announced.
The official also put the country’s fishery exports at over 123,000 tons worth $500 million in the past year, with a noticeable growth, IRNA reported.
He further put the country’s fishery consumption per capita at 11.2 kilograms, indicating 500 grams rise year on year.
