the Iranian women’s youth football team will open the “Kuban Spring-2018” with a match against host Russia.
“Kuban Spring-2018” will be held from March 16 to 21 in Sochi.
The competition will bring four teams namely, Russia, Romania, North Korea and Iran together.
Iran has been scheduled to face Russia on March 16 and meet N. Korea and Romania on March 18 and 21, respectively.
The format of the competition is following: the tournament is held in a circular system, under which each team will play one match with all the other participants. Based on the results of three rounds, the champion and prize-winners of the “Kuban Spring-2018” will be determined.
In 2008, the “Kuban Spring” began a new countdown. The tournament was transformed into the international festival of women’s youth teams, having received support from FIFA.
