TEHRAN – Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami said on Sunday that the enemies are using different methods including political and economic sanctions to create division in the Iranian society and turn the people against the government.
Hatami said the enemies are trying to direct people’s anger toward the Islamic establishment by putting political and economic pressures on the people, Mehr reported.
He also voiced his gratitude to the people’s massive turnout in the Feb. 11 rallies marking the Islamic Revolution anniversary and their renewed support for the Islamic establishment.
