TEHRAN – The acclaimed Iranian short film “Animal” co-directed by filmmakers Bahram and Bahman Ark received the Liberty Global International Student Filmmaker Award at the 40th Denver Film Festival on Sunday.
The film tells the story of a man who attempts to cross a frontier disguised as a ram.
Iranian films “Disappearance” by Ali Asgari and “Retouch” by Kaveh Mazaheri were also screened during the festival, which was held in the U.S. city of Denver located in the state of Colorado.
