Iranian male team kata claimed a bronze medal at the Karate1 Premier League Paris Open on Sunday.
Iranian team, consists of Milad Delikhoun, Abolfazl Shahrjerdi and Ali Zand, defeated Malaysian team 3-2 in the bronze medal match.
The event has brought a total of 756 competitors from 81 nations together in Paris.
The competitions are being held at the Pierre de Coubertin from Jan. 27 to 29.
A total of 22 male and 11 female karate athletes from Iran are taking part in the event.
Initiated in 2011, the Karate1 Premier League is the most important league event in the world of karate. It includes some of the most prominent competitions and endeavors to bring together the best karate athletes in the world.
