TEHRAN — The cinematheque of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (TMCA) will be screening two films by French filmmaker Claire Denis this week.
“35 Shots of Rum”, a 2008 film that portrays the relationship between a middle-aged widower and a lovely, devoted daughter, will be screened on Sunday, TMCA announced in a press release published on Friday.
“White Material”, a 2009 film about a coffee plantation in an unnamed African country, will go on screen on Tuesday.
The two films will be screened in their original languages with Persian subtitles.
