TEHRAN – The Iranian short film ‘Lunch Time’ will compete in the 15th London Short Film Festival.
‘Lunch Time’ directed by Alireza Ghasemi will vie at the 15th London Short Film Festival, a cinematic arts event ratified by BAFTA academy.
London Short Film Festival with an audience of more than 10 thousand, has so far screened more than 500 British and foreign forms and is considered as one of the most celebrated festivals by young, creative filmmakers. It has been called the best short film festival in the world by the Guardian Guide.
‘Lunch Time’ has been nominated for the Golden Palm award of Cannes film festival and has been screened at Leeds International Film Festival and BFI London Film Festival. It will be screened at London Short Film Festival on January 21, 2017.
‘Lunch Time’ tells the story of a teenage girl who has come to the hospital to identify the body of her mother, but is not allowed to enter the morgue because she is underage.
