TEHRAN– To meet his Turkish and Azeri counterpart, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif left Tehran for Baku on Tuesday in the afternoon.
The Iranian, Turkish and Azeri foreign ministers will hold a trilateral meeting in Azerbaijan’s capital city of Baku on Wednesday to discuss their future cooperation and decisions taken in the previous meetings.
The trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Iran, Azerbaijan and Turkey will focus on regional issues and enhancing future cooperation. Mr. Zarif is scheduled to hold a separate meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Çavuşoğlu.
This is the fifth trilateral meeting of the three foreign ministers.
