Beiranvand broke the previous mark set by former Sepahan stopper Armenak Petrosian.
The Persepolis keeper surpassed Petrosian’s old mark of 704.
Persepolis football team was held to a 1-1 draw by Foolad in Ahvaz’s Ghadir Stadium on Sunday.
Godwin Mensha scored for Persepolis in the 14th minute and Rahim Zahivi equalized the match with one minute remaining.
