Secretary of Iran’s Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei in a note entitled “The End of ISIL,” emphasized that ISIL plot case, to divide Islamic states, was dismissed forever, following the liberation of Syrian town of al-Bukamal.
Posting on his Instagram account on Monday, Rezaei said ISIL struggled very hard to survive in al-Bukamal, as this pillar was its last hiding place.
“In the past two weeks, ISIL did not spare any efforts to survive in the region, but with the victories of Resistance, it completely lost its organizational axis and the region was cleared of its existence,” he noted.
As part of their recent achievement, the Syrian army and its allied forces liberated the strategic border town of al-Bukamal from hands of ISIL terrorists.
