TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif inaugurated the country’s new embassy building in Dushanbe during a short visit to Tajikistan.
In a ceremony attended by his Tajik counterpart Sirodjidin Aslov on Wednesday, Foreign Minister Zarif opened the new Iranian embassy building in Dushanbe.
In his short trip to Tajikistan, Zarif also met with the Central Asian country’s President Emomali Rahmon for talks on expansion of Tehran-Dushanbe ties.
The top Iranian diplomat later left for Uzbekistan to attend the International Conference on Security and Sustainable Development in Central Asia.
