TEHRAN- Loading and unloading of goods at ports of Iran rose three percent in the fifth Iranian calendar month Mordad (July 23-August 22) from its previous month, according to the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO).
The PMO announced that more than 13.022 million tons of goods were loaded and unloaded at Iranian ports during the fifth month, Tasnim news agency reported on Friday.
Last October, PMO Managing Director Mohammad Saeednejad said that the organization has it on the agenda to increase the current 209 million-ton capacity of the country’s trade ports to 217 million tons.
