TEHRAN– The 3rd International Exhibition on Pharmaceuticals and Related Industries, Iran Pharma 2017, kicked off on Tuesday in Tehran and will run through September 14.
The international event is playing host to 502 pharmaceutical companies, 164 of which are foreign ones.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Health Minister Hassan Ghazizadeh Hashemi, Head of Iran’s Food and Drug Administration Gholamreza Asghari, Indonesian Vice President, and Bulgarian and Danish ambassadors in Tehran.
Following the great success of its previous edition, Iran Pharma Expo is aiming for bigger objectives in its 2017 edition.
Several events are taking place on the sidelines of the event including the 2nd medical and pharmaceutical book fair, the 1st health-oriented media exhibition, and different workshops in the fields of packaging, marketing and export.
The exhibition takes place from September 12 to 14, 2017 in the Grand Musalla of Tehran.
Showcasing a great number of pharmaceuticals, APIs, packaging industries, herbals, supplementary products, cosmetics and hygienic products, pharmaceutical machinery and equipment, as well as homecare and contact services, Iran Pharma Expo 2017 promises to mark yet another historical event in the region’s pharmaceutical market.
