During his ongoing visit to Syria, Majid Mirahmadi met with Syrian People’s Council Speaker Hammouda Sabbagh on Tuesday to discuss the deepening cooperation between the two nations.

Underscoring their shared geopolitical significance in the region and the Islamic world, Mirahmadi elaborated on the security agreements between Iran and Syria.

He recalled the resilience of the Islamic Revolution, a stance that Washington found intolerable, leading to various conspiracies, including provoking Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Iran.

Recalling the difficult period during the imposed war with Iraq, Mirahmadi praised the unwavering support of the late Syrian President Hafez al-Assad. Similarly, he affirmed Iran’s unwavering support for Syria, particularly in its fight against terrorist groups backed by the Zionist regime and the United States.

“While over 70% of Syria was under terrorist control, the brave Iranian and Syrian nations stood united in the same trench and emerged victorious,” he declared.

The Deputy Interior Minister asserted that the resistance front is on the verge of triumph, reiterating Iran’s stance that the occupiers must vacate Syrian territory and the Syrian army must be fortified against the threats posed by the Zionist regime.

In conclusion, Mirahmadi emphasized the shared objectives, interests, and enemies of Iran and Syria, underscoring their commitment to regional stability and the unwavering pursuit of justice.

Mirahmadi held substantial discussions with Syrian Minister of Interior Mohammad Khaled al-Rahmoun on Sunday.

The talks centered on the strong strategic ties between Iran and Syria, highlighting unwavering support from Iran’s leadership and its people across various domains.

Commending Hezbollah’s pivotal role and unwavering determination on the battlefield, Mirahmadi acknowledged the legitimacy of the Resistance in Iraq against the U.S. and the Zionist regime.

Israel’s relentless bombardment of Gaza for nearly three months has destroyed 70% of the homes in the besieged Palestinian enclave, according to the Government Media Office.

About 300,000 out of 439,000 homes have been destroyed in Israeli attacks. The 29,000 bombs dropped on the strip have targeted residential areas, Byzantine churches, hospitals, shopping malls, and all civilian infrastructure has been damaged to an extent that they cannot be repaired.

In nearly three months, the offensive has wreaked more destruction than the razing of Syria’s Aleppo between 2012 and 2016, Ukraine’s Mariupol, or, proportionally, the Allied bombing of Germany in World War II. It has killed more civilians than the United States-led coalition did in its three-year campaign against the ISIS group.

The Israeli military campaign in Gaza, experts say, also now sits among the deadliest in recent history, killing more than 21,500 people and wounding 55,000.

The Israeli army claims it has been targeting Hamas fighters, who carried out a deadly attack called Operation al-Aqsa Storm inside Israel on October 7. Some 1,200 people were killed in that attack which triggered the current phase of the conflict.

Hamas says its attack was in response to continued Israeli blockade of Gaza and expansion of settlement in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. Palestinians see the Israeli settlements – which are considered illegal under international law – to be the biggest hurdle in the realization of their future state.

But experts have criticized Israel for bombing Gaza – which is one of the most densely populated areas in the world housing 2.3 million people on 365 sq km of land.

Media reports and rights groups say an overwhelming majority of those killed are civilians – more than 70% of them children, women, and elderly. More than 90% of the enclave’s population is now displaced, with aid groups warning of hunger and outbreaks of disease. Delivery of aid has been restricted by Israel, worsening the crisis.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military has said little about what kinds of bombs and artillery it is using in Gaza. From blast fragments found on-site and analyses of strike footage, experts are confident that the vast majority of bombs dropped on the besieged enclave are US-made.

The “Operation al-Aqsa Storm” cartoon exhibition will run until January 20 at the Iranian House of Cartoon located at No. 44, Golnabi St., Shariati St.

This is the second exhibition on this issue in Tehran since the beginning of the ongoing war in Gaza. The Latin America Cartoon and Caricature Exhibition was held for about two months at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (TMoCA).

The cartoon and caricature exhibition, which concluded last week, showcased works by 400 artists from 15 countries in Latin America, including Argentina, Ecuador, Brazil, Honduras, Mexico, Cuba, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Nicaragua.

The artworks on display dealt with various subjects including Operation al-Aqsa Storm as well as anti-arrogance, anti-Zionist, racial discrimination, soft war, food scarcity, water crises, cultural invasion, and environmental issues.

 Ever since early October, the Israeli regime has been relentlessly bombing the defenseless Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, where more than 11,000 civilians have been killed, mostly women and children. The massiveness of the atrocities of the Israeli regime was beyond imagination, rightly causing global uproar and drawing criticism of Tel Aviv.

Thousands of people around the world, including in the U.S., have taken to the streets to put pressure on their leaders to demand a ceasefire in Gaza. For instance, more than 10,000 people attended a protest at the Texas Capitol to call for a ceasefire in the Israeli war on Gaza. Similar demonstrations were held across the world.

The global outcry appears to have spooked Zionists in the West, prompting them to issue stark warnings about the diminishing support for Israel. One such warning came from Jonathan Greenblatt, the director of the so-called Anti-Defamation League, whose function is centered on spreading defamation against anyone criticizing the apartheid regime of Israel.

In a recent private meeting with a group of Zionist propagandists, Greenblatt sounded the alarm bells about Israel losing the messaging battlespace in the U.S., according to a recording of the meeting exclusively obtained by the Tehran Times.

“But I also, wanna point out that we have a major major major generational problem, all the polling that I’ve seen, ADL’s polling, ICC’s polling, independent polling suggests this is not a left or right gap folks, the issue in United States’ support for Israel is not left and right, it is young and old, and the numbers of young people who think that Hamas’s you know massacre was justified is shockingly and terrifyingly high,  and so we really have a Tik-Tok problem a Gen-Z problem that our community needs to put the same brains that gave us Tagly(?) the same brains that gave us all these other amazing innovations need to put our energy toward this like fast, cause again like we’ve been chasing this left right divide, it’s the wrong game, the real game is the next generation and the Hamas and their accomplices the useful idiots in the West are falling in line in ways that are terrifying,” Greenblatt said.

A former Obama official, Greenblatt has been actively defaming any criticism of Israel since early October when the Israeli regime launched a genocidal campaign against the Gaza Strip following an operation by Palestinian resistance groups in the occupied territories. Interestingly, he even defamed Jews who bravely stood against Israel, labeling them as “anti-Israel.” Interestingly, he is married to Marjan Keypour, a Zionist of Iranian origin.
The spouse has been fiercely acting as a Zionist propagandist in the U.S., spreading slanted reports and analyses on behalf of the Israeli regime. The global wave of awareness about the terrorist nature of Israel has led them to double down on their activism in recent weeks.

In the private meeting, Greenblatt told the participants that this wave has something to do with Iran!

He said, “The last thing I’ll just say, we saw a dramatic change in the language of the activists here in the America on Oct. the 8th, the language of groups that we’ve long tracked,  to have long been problematic, like Student for Justice in Palestine and Jewish Voices for Peace, they flipped like this and went to like Iranian Propaganda, the language I could show you from their toolkits, cause they’re endless in their groups, we saw this again on October the 8th , it was that fast, like the language in their toolkits was all about Zionist entity, and lots of other language that we recognize from Iranian propaganda. We think that there is something more to this that’s below the water line, it’s the young generations that we need to focus our energy on, there is something happening with Iran, and how it’s now their propaganda, in their language in their tactics, seem to be bleeding into the American kind of activists face, in ways that is very different than NIAC and very very problematic.”

Unlike the frightened Greenblatt’s allegation, the wave of Israel-bashing awareness has nothing to do with Iran because Israel’s oppression against the defenseless Palestinian nation is so glaringly obvious that every human being with the slightest moral conscience would naturally take the side of the Palestinians in this disproportionate war. That Zionists like Greenblatt find it difficult to understand why Palestinians deserve solidarity stems from their minds being inundated with Hasbara, the unique Israeli propaganda strategy that left many Israelis and their supporters unable to criticize the bombardment of hospitals replete with incubator babies.

Overall, American students do not need Iran or any other country to “indoctrinate” them that Israel is committing crimes against humanity. They see with their own eyes on global televisions how Israel is killing women and children in Gaza, the largest open-air prison of the world. With its carnage in Gaza, the Israeli regime has turned into a moral burden for its supporters. Today, defending Israel means a complete lack of moral compass. At the end of the day, no human being should be forced to undergo surgery without anesthesia in the 21st century. Israel, however, forced Gazan doctors to perform such surgeries, not just for the elderly, but also for babies.

Stopping the process of normalizing relations between the Arab countries of the region and the Zionist regime, as well as stopping the project of economic corridors related to the Israeli regime until an unknown future, are only part of the side effects of the recent war, known as the Al-Aqsa Storm. It seems that now is the best time to apply multilateral international sanctions against the Zionist regime, and this can be put on the agenda of the countries at the initiative of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The direct armed conflict between the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement known as Hamas and the Zionist regime, which began on October 7 and continues until now, will have deep negative political and economic consequences for the uncertain future of the Zionist regime. Inside the regime, security considerations have caused the closure of many businesses and the calling of many owners of economic activities to join the military forces.

These consequences are not limited to the interior and can face the medium and long-term plans of some countries in the region to interact with the Zionist regime with numerous economic, security, and ideological challenges.

The armed conflict between Hamas and the Zionist regime, regardless of the outcome of the war, will lead to a reduction in public relations of some countries and a temporary halt in the process of normalizing relations of some others with the regime. The recent conflicts will postpone the official announcement of these normalizations to an unknown time.

At the second level, one of the coordination measures that can be expected to be implemented at the regional and extra-regional levels is to impose sanctions against products manufactured by the Zionist regime. These sanction programs, which the Arab League has a record of applying against the Zionist regime in the recent past, today are accompanied by the jurisprudential support of the orders of Muslim scholars regarding the sanctity of economic relations with the Israeli regime and the spontaneous welcome of Muslim and non-Muslim people.

Therefore, concluding a multilateral agreement to sanction economic relations with the Israeli regime can be on the agenda of many countries, and the Islamic Republic of Iran can also be a pioneer in proposing to conclude such an agreement.

It is even possible to use the experience of the Arab League to impose secondary sanctions against individuals and companies cooperating with the Zionist regime.

The Zionist regime dreams of implementing two projects related to transit corridors. The first project was related to the Red-Med project connecting the Red Sea to the Mediterranean, which was supposed to be completed with the participation of Chinese and European companies. In the “Red-Med” corridor project, the plan to connect the port of Eilat in the Gulf of Aqaba to the northern coasts connected to the Mediterranean Sea in the occupied territories, through the creation of a high-speed railway, was on the agenda.

It is noteworthy that the city of Neom, which is being established in Saudi Arabia, as the flagship project of the country’s big economic plan for 2030, is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Aqaba and near the port of Eilat of the Zionist regime, as the starting point of the “Red-Med” corridor.

However, the experiences of Iraq and Syria during the presence of ISIS in the region have shown that investor governments such as China and its related companies, despite their great desire to develop their relations with other countries, are never willing to enter and invest in a market with low security. In fact, security as the priority of these investors has always been of great importance and this is what the Israeli regime has lost with the conflict known as the Al-Aqsa Storm.

The second project, which was recently unveiled during the G20 summit in New Delhi, is a corridor called “Arab-Med” or, in Indian terms, the “India-Middle East-Europe” corridor which is supposed to connect India to Europe through the Arab countries and the Zionist regime.

However, it is clear that the intensification of the disputes between some Arab countries and the Zionist regime, due to the massacre in Gaza and also the proof of the insecurity of the occupied territories, will delay the implementation of such initiatives until an unknown future.

Regarding the Westerners’ intervention in the region, General Salami stated on Thursday morning that Westerners seek to dominate the Islamic world, precisely the Persian Gulf region, to advance their policy and take the political destiny of the Muslims into their own hands.

No concept of Islamic world before the Islamic Revolution

The IRGC chief said that there was no concept of an “Islamic world” before the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Yet, he said, it was formed by the late founder of the Islamic Revolution and the Supreme Leader.

“Upon the statement of the British government on the formation of a Jewish state about 75 years ago, Palestinians were displaced from their lands, their lands were grabbed and the Haganah terrorists massacred their families,” said General Salami, adding that simultaneously Muslim nations were silent and plunged into the “deep ignorance”.

Since 45 years ago with the onset of the Islamic Revolution, the arrogant countries have turned the region into “a battlefield,” the major general lamented, stressing that this is the first time that Islam has shown its influence in equations and developments in the world.

The general was indirectly referring to Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Iran in September 1980 with the instigation of the West, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in December 1979, Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait in 1990, the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, Iraq in 2003, etc.

Pointing to the speech of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei with students on Wednesday, two days ahead of National Student Day, Salami touched on enemies’ efforts to deviate the minds and hearts of Iranian youth, adding that the media propaganda is run to connect the minds of the youth with the insidious history of America’s dark era.
