Dozens of protesters have been arrested as Israelis flooded streets across the occupied Palestinian territories as the Israeli Knesset passed a key bill as part of Netanyahu’s judicial overhaul plan.

Many others, as well as Israeli police, have been injured.

Opposition politicians chanted “shame” and stormed out the Knesset, leaving supporters to approve the change 64 votes to zero.

Protests against the judicial overhaul intensified following the ratification of the law, and the occupied territories, including Tel Aviv and al-Quds (Jerusalem), witnessed heavy clashes between protesters and security forces.

More than 170,000 Israelis participated in the demonstrations, which saw police use skunk water against the protesters for the first time since massive back-to-back rallies began seven months ago.

The protesters cut off major streets and crossroads as thousands gathered in front of the Knesset as well as Tel Aviv, in addition to demonstrations throughout the entity.

Police were seen using water spraying vehicles and horse mounted units in an attempt to disperse them.

Reflecting the division and crisis, a motorist rammed his car into a crowd of protesters in the central occupied Palestinian territories, injuring at least three people.

Other footage shows violent clashes breaking out between Israeli police and the protesters throughout the night.

Opposition leader Yair Lapid made a rare appeal to the police officers to handle the protesters with mercy. “A line was crossed today,” Lapid wrote on his social media, “remember, these are your brothers and sisters … whose world just collapsed on them … don’t harm them.”

Speaking at a protest, the former Shin Bet chief, Nadav Argaman, said that Netanyahu is “captured by the hands of a coalition that has lost touch with the people.” Argaman, who served in his post until 2021, added, “We will fight with all the tools at our disposal.”

Israel’s former state prosecutor, Moshe Lador, also spoke at a protest and accused Netanyahu of “conducting a ferocious and harmful struggle against the (entity) that put him on trial – the Netanyahu affair against the (Israeli occupation).”
The outcry has seen repercussions for the Israeli army.
Around 10,000 reservists have already said they won’t serve because of the measures, forcing the military chief Herzi Halevi to address the controversy.

In a letter to soldiers, he said: “If we will not be a strong and cohesive military, if the best do not serve, we will no longer be able to exist as an (entity) in the region.”

On Monday, Halevi also addressed Netanyahu, saying that “speaking out against reservists who threaten to suspend their duty because of the judicial coup will harm our preparedness and unity”, according to Israeli media, citing sources in the occupation military.

After the vote was passed in the Knesset, more Israeli army reservists, some in critical roles, have vowed not to show up for duty.

Business leaders and legal officials have also voiced opposition, saying it will diminish the courts’ ability to keep the cabinet’s power in check, while petrol stations and shopping centers shut down in protest.

Opponents see the measures as a power grab by Netanyahu, who’s on trial on corruption charges, and fear it is setting the regime on the path to dictatorship.

Benny Gantz, head of the Blue and White party, issued a statement, saying that “direct responsibility lies with the Prime Minister. He chose the political needs of Ben-Gvir and the whims of Levin over the (regime’s) standing, security, and society.”

“We will do everything to roll back and correct the situation,” he added.

Netanyahu and his other extremist allies are determined to push ahead.

Coalition member minister Yariv Levin called it the “first step in an important historic process” of reshaping the influence of judges, but opposition leader Yair Lapid said it meant Israel is “headed for disaster”.

Monday’s vote came soon after Netanyahu was discharged from hospital after having a pacemaker fitted.

His resolve to see the changes through has drawn concern from the U.S., a staunch supporter of Israel, with President Joe Biden cautioning against pushing through laws that are causing so much division.

“Given the range of threats and challenges confronting (the entity) right now, it doesn’t make sense for Israeli leaders to rush this – the focus should be on pulling people together and finding consensus,” Biden told Axios.

The White House said, “It is unfortunate that the vote took place.”

Among Israel’s other allies that have voiced concern were Germany’s Foreign Ministry, which issued a statement expressing that Berlin’s “very much regrets that the negotiations between the Netanyahu’s cabinet and the opposition, mediated by President Isaac Herzog, have failed.”

“In light of our deep ties with (the occupation) and its people, we view the deepening tensions in Israeli society with great concern,” it added.

As well as curbing the judges’ power, the plan would also change the way they are selected, which opponents say would pave the path for corruption and improper appointments.

For many of the protesters, the immediate concern was not the bill itself. Rather, they are worried that it would be followed by other, more radical legislation that would remove crucial remaining checks on Israeli cabinets, and allow Netanyahu’s extremist allies to impose their own deeply conservative and authoritarian worldview on the Israeli settler population and not just the Palestinians.

“Both sides are scared of what will come next. It’s hard to have a dialogue.” protester Lior Carmon told the Guardian. “We are in a bubble, and it’s now bursting.”

In a speech, Lebanese Hezbollah Secretary-General  Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah stated, “Israel was once a formidable force in the region, but it began to erode in its faith, consciousness, self-assurance, and humility until it found itself in the crisis it is experiencing today.”

The Hezbollah chief called the Knesset approval the “worst day” in history of the occupation regime.

“Today is undoubtedly its worst day in the Zionist entity’s history,” Nasrallah, adding, “As some of its people and members are saying that they are facing a crisis, division, and destruction… God willing.”

U.S. State Department spokesperson Matt Miller said, “We have a long-standing friendship with the government of (the occupation) that really transcends one issue.” Miller added, “It is because our friendship … that the president and other members of this administration felt the responsibility to speak out about this measure and express our concern.”

The “pro-Israel, pro-peace” group J Street pushed for the White House and Congress to go further.

“While the Netanyahu government fundamentally … plows ahead toward a more authoritarian and ethno-nationalist future, ‘business as usual’ from Congress and the White House is a recipe for terrible failure,” it said.

Other U.S. Jewish organizations expressed “profound” concern and disappointment.

The New Israel Fund called it a “dark day in the history of the (occupied Palestinian territories) and the Jewish people”.

“We have Israeli protesters taking very strong actions in the street. A much stronger statement by the Biden administration would be very important for them. That’s how the administration can show true support, significant support, for (the occupation), and those who are fighting to uphold it.”

The American Jewish Committee, one of the oldest pro-Israel groups in the U.S., expressed “profound disappointment” at the vote and said it is “gravely concerned” that it will deepen divisions among Israelis in the occupied Palestinian territories.

“The continued effort to press forward on judicial reform rather than seeking compromise has sown discord within the Israeli military at a time of elevated threats to the (Israeli occupation) and has strained the vital relationship between (the occupation) and diaspora Jewry,” it said.

A joint statement from the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the Jewish Leadership Council said they were “deeply disappointed” that efforts to find a middleground had so far failed.

They said: “Now that the first law has passed, we plead with Israeli leaders to return urgently to dialogue and to prevent the deepening of a constitutional crisis which will do tremendous damage to the very fabric of Israeli society, its regional security and global status.”

Former U.S. Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers and a key ally of President Biden said he “mourned” the Israeli vote while urging Americans to heed the relevant lessons ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

“It is a reminder of a tragic lesson of history: great nations are brought down more often by internal decay than external threats. As 2024 approaches, I hope Americans will heed this lesson and resist the siren song of populist extremism,” he warned.

Iran’s representative to the UN during a UN Security Council meeting said the Israeli regime cannot deflect attention away from its acts of naval terrorism by throwing unproven accusations against Iran of destabilizing activity.

“Such accusations can, in no way, cover up the Israeli regime’s [own] acts of terrorism against commercial naval navigation. Over less than two years, the regime [itself] has attacked more than 10 commercial vessels carrying oil or humanitarian goods in regional waters,” she said.

The remarks came after the regime accused the Islamic Republic of an attack on an Israeli oil tanker off the coast of Oman without providing any evidence in support of the claim. Its traditional allies, the United States and the UK, however, strongly backed up its accusations.

History has proved that if a country does not react against aliens’ bully, it is doomed to collapse and surrender and to be the lackey of the bullying country. The Islamic Republic of Iran has been one of those countries which has stood strongly against any bully from any country since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.

According to reports, Israel has become so rude that it has sent its submarine to the region for showing muscles to Iran and other countries in the region. An Israeli submarine has reportedly entered the Red Sea, where it could pass through the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait and head towards the Persian Gulf, in a heavily discouraged mission potentially meant against Iran.

Reports published on Tuesday said the Dolphin-class submarine had “secretly” entered the Red Sea via the Suez Canal on the previous Wednesday (August 4). The two Israeli destroyers crossed the canal on the same day, apparently escorting the submarine.

The move came after an attack on an Israeli tanker off the coast of Oman earlier in the month and attempts by the regime and its allies, the United States and the UK, to accuse the Islamic Republic of involvement in the incident. Tehran has vehemently rejected the claims. This is not the first time, when the Israeli regime is trying to take malign actions to target the region in the aftermath of the attack.

Also on August 4, it was reported that the Israeli regime’s spy agency Mossad had transferred state-of-the-art cyber sabotage units to the United Arab Emirates in order to interfere with the regional air and maritime navigation. Doing so, Tel Aviv could give rise to some uncalled-for incidents that could stoke potential misunderstanding among the regional states and force them into likely conflict.

Reports about the submarine mission came amid ongoing strong warnings urging the regime not to try to challenge Iran in the waters and the contiguous Sea of Oman given the Islamic Republic’s military superiority there.

But once and for all, the Zionists should be dealt properly as they need a serious kick in the ass in order to stop threatening other states otherwise they will continue rudely their atrocities by the support of its allies.

As Chief Commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has said that the final collapse of the Zionist regime in Tel Aviv is not just an aspiration, but a reality, which will materialize in the near future. Major General Hossein Salami said, “In view of undeniable realities on the ground, we believe that the collapse and fall of the Zionist regime is far beyond a mere aspiration and is a reality, which will be realized in the near future.” Salami said only power can harness the rebellious Zionists and emphasized that strengthening Palestine is a strategy that should never be stopped.

The Islamic Republic of Iran does not seek any war with anyone but in case it faces any aggression, it will give a proper response and the Zionists are better to forget any offence against Iran otherwise they will receive a strong kick in the ass that it has never tasted it before.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Ordinary Arab people will never permanently accept Arab–Israeli normalization. West Asia is currently bogged down in an apparent stalemate between the Zionist-imperialist aggressors and the forces of resistance. Neither side has been able to score a clear victory and eliminate or subjugate the other. The Zionists have not been able to erase the Palestinian question, nor have they succeeded in their efforts to neutralize the Axis of Resistance. So the fires are smoldering, and could blaze up into flames at any time.

The Zionists have successfully pursued the project they launched in the 1960s, which was to neutralize Arab rulers’ resistance to the genocide of the Palestinians. At that time, the Zionists assumed that Arab nationalism was their biggest threat. Back then, Turkey and Iran were run by Western-puppet anti-Islamic regimes, so the Zionists assumed they would never be a problem.

Today the situation has evolved to the point that Arab nationalism is dead, Arab leaders openly prostitute themselves to the genocidal Zionists, Arab populations largely acquiesce in their own shameful humiliation, and only the Palestinians and the Axis of Resistance are proudly carrying forward the struggle. The forces of Resistance have increasingly carried the banner of Islam: Hamas and its allies, Hezbollah, the Ansarullah in Yemen, and patriotic forces in Iraq are all specifically Islamic resistance groups, and they receive moral and occasionally tangible support from the Islamic Republic of Iran and (we hope) the increasingly Islamic but not yet fully independent Republic of Turkey.

Meanwhile, the Saudis and other Persian Gulf tyrannies are de-Islamizing themselves. The Saudis are now teaching the Hindu epics Ramayana and Mahabharata in schools and promoting the concept of Hollywood-style “entertainment” as the solution to their problems with Wahhabism. (The Saudis created extremist takfiri Wahabbism under orders from their Western masters, as Bin Salman has admitted, just as they are now secularizing and openly embracing Israel under orders from those same Western masters.)

The Zionists are hoping that so-called normalization will allow them to finish their genocide of Palestine without interference from the Arab nations. But as the Qur’an says, “They plot and Allah plots (plans) and Allah is the best of plotters (planners).” The Arab despots pushing through so-called normalization are not very popular with their people. The despots will likely fail to meet their people’s aspirations, which could lead to a new round of revolutionary unrest that will discredit the despots’ projects, including so-called normalization.

Just as the Egyptian people never accepted Anwar Sadat’s treasonous “normalization,” likewise the ordinary Arab people will never permanently accept the current versions being offered by Bin Salman and the other despots. There can be no peace without justice. Just as Sadat succumbed to the violence he unleashed by betraying the Palestinian cause, ultimately the current group of royal traitors will pay the penalty for their treason.

The Western-puppet secular Arab nationalist rulers will, sooner or later, be overthrown by Resistance forces raising high the banner of Islam. These Resistance forces recognize that Zionism represents Dajjal, the Antichrist and that the struggle for the Holy Land pits the forces of God against the forces of Dajjal. So while the Arab masses may pass through a period of confusion as their leaders openly embrace Dajjal, and misguided and brainwashed young people flirt with the temptation of secularism, that period will end with a rebirth of Islamic Resistance and the eventual liberation of Jerusalem al-Quds and the rest of Palestine.

Israel has been violating human rights in the case of Palestinians, including the recent Israel blockage of COVID vaccines from entering Gaza. Israel blocked COVID vaccines intended for frontline medical workers in Gaza as part of its overall blockade of Gaza, which has reduced the majority of Gazans to extreme poverty and prevented them from access to food, health care, and other infrastructure. The international community has been unable to summon the courage to force Israel to end its blockade because Zionists infest the top levels of the wealth and power hierarchies in the West, especially in media and finance. These Zionists brutally punish politicians who question or oppose their genocide of Palestine. The Western leadership, consisting almost entirely of moral cowards, repeatedly capitulates to Zionist pressure and allows the genocide to continue unimpeded.

The Zionists used Trump to push through their extreme hardline policies, including forcing “normalization” on their client puppet regimes. Now they will use Biden to consolidate their gains, in the same way, the Zionists who blew up the World Trade Center on 9/11 pushed through radical policies under Bush-Cheney and then consolidated those policies under Obama. A high proportion of Biden’s advisors are Jewish Zionists who will block and veto any meaningful efforts to reverse Trump’s extremist policies—just as the same type of Zionist advisors controlled the Obama Administration and prevented the president from closing Guantanamo and ending the fake “war on terror” which is really a war on Islam for Israel.

The Western imperialists have been playing the divide-and-conquer game for centuries. Today they continue to play the same game by using all of their considerable resources to divide Muslims according to sectarian categories. In reality, Muslims of all schools of thought, including but not limited to the five traditional universally accepted law schools one of which is the Jafari (Shia) school, have the same interest in defeating the Zionist Dajjal and expelling the forces of Zionism and imperialism from the region. So the Axis of Resistance represents all Muslims and indeed all West Asian people seeking dignity and sovereignty for themselves and their people.

“Eliminating the Zionist regime doesn’t mean eliminating Jews. We aren’t against Jews. It means abolishing the imposed regime & Muslim, Christian & Jewish Palestinians choose their own govt & expel thugs like Netanyahu. This is ‘Eliminating Israel’ & it will happen,” Ayatollah Khamenei said in a follow-up tweet.

“The Zionist regime has proven it won’t abide by any treaty & understands no logic except force. The nature of the Zionist regime is incompatible with peace because the Zionists seek to expand their territories & will certainly not be limited to what they have already occupied,” he said.

The International Quds Day is an annual worldwide event during which demonstrators express their solidarity with the Palestinian people and opposition to the occupation of the Palestinian territories by the Zionist regime of Israel.

The day is seen as the legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini, who officially declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as International Quds Day back in 1979.

According To Iran News, Iran’s Judiciary has placed legal restrictions on the properties of the key elements of the “Saudi-Zionist” TV channel Iran International, given the “terrorist” nature of the UK-based media outlet, the Judiciary’s Media Center said.

“Following the moves by the Saudi-Zionist network of Iran International to organize terrorist, subversive and separatist acts and encourage destruction of public property and after the careful tracking of these moves by the forces of the Ministry of Intelligence of the Islamic Republic of Iran, some legal restrictions have been imposed on the key elements of the hostile network,” the center said in a statement on Tuesday.

“Some anti-Tehran Persian-language networks which have financial and intelligence affiliations with Western countries and some of the reactionary regimes in the region have sought to … worsen Iran’s internal situation,” the statement added.

The Saudi-Zionist network of Iran International has made attempts to disrupt the security of the country by encouraging and provoking thugs to organize terrorist acts, it said.

Due to the “terrorist, subversive and divisive nature” of the network, some judicial and legal restrictions have been imposed on the properties of its key elements, the judiciary went on to say.

Following a hike in the price of gasoline earlier this month, a number of Iranian cities saw sporadic protests that turned violent in some cases. A number of banks and government buildings were set ablaze.

Meanwhile, anti-Iranian media outlets as well as some Western officials, including US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, voiced their support for the rioters who took advantage of the protests.

In an address on November 17, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei warned that the sporadic protests and acts of vandalism in Iran would create insecurity.

Describing insecurity as the worst calamity for society, the Leader said that “all evil centers in the world” have mobilized efforts in recent days to encourage unrest in Iran.

Ayatollah Khamenei also called on the Iranian authorities to be careful that the rise in the price of fuel would not increase the price of other commodities.

The Leader also called on the people to separate themselves from a group of thugs who are encouraged by the foreign-based anti-Iranian front to foment insecurity.
