Referring to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s recent visit to Pakistan, General Safavi said Pakistan is a neighbor of Iran, and it should know that Saudi government is not reliable because it will not last for long.

The senior official added, 16 research organizations in Europe have announced in a document named ‘World in 2030’ that Saudis will not be existing in 2030 while Iran will be the strongest country of the region.

His comments come while Saudis are using aid packages and investment promises to buy the economically embattled Pakistani government’s loyalty and convince it to turn a blind eye to their destructive actions within Pakistan’s borders, including the Saudi-funded seminaries that have become breeding ground for extremism and terrorism.

General Safavi also referred to the recent terrorist attack in southeast Iran, which killed and wounded several dozens of IRGC personnel, saying the Pakistani government and its intelligence service have to respond to the Iranian nation and government.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) announced on Tuesday that two of the perpetrators behind the Zahedan terrorist attack, including the suicide bomber, were Pakistani nationals.

The suicide attack, which targeted a bus carrying Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps personnel near Zahedan in Sistan and Baluchestan province, claimed the lives of 27 people and injured dozens of others.

The so-called Jaish ul-Adl terror group, which is based across the border in Pakistan and is responsible for kidnapping Iranian border guards and carrying out other terrorist attacks of this kind in Zahedan over the past years, claimed responsibility for the Wednesday attack.

He said, “the powerful Iranian armed forces and IRGC ground forces have the right to crack down on the perpetrators of the terrorist attack based on their revolutionary duty to defend the country’s borders.”

Addressing a conference on strategies to counter hybrid warfare in Tehran, General Safavi said in hybrid warfare, the invaders make use of every possible capacity to penetrate and undermine the target country’s intelligence, economic, cultural and social aspects.

Hybrid warfare is a military strategy that employs political warfare and blends conventional warfare, irregular warfare and cyber-warfare with other influencing methods, such as fake news, diplomacy, lawfare and foreign electoral intervention.

The former IRGC chief added that while western countries believe in devising unique strategies for each target in modern hybrid warfare, the players in the defense industry should take every necessary measure to upgrade their capabilities in the same field so as not to suffer irreversible damages.

Referring to Iran’s achievements in the defense industry, he highlighted that military forces are determined to counter enemies’ threats and foil their conspiracies against the Iranian nation.

He made the Saturday remarks at Tehran-based Holy Defense Museum in a ceremony for unveiling a book related to Iran-Iraq war.

According to documents found in the US embassy in Tehran, from the 1953 Coup to the overthrow of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in 1979 all the affairs of Iran was in control of the United States, he highlighted.

In the past 40 years, the US has put all-out effort to fight Iran but they have conceded a defeat and are forced to retreat from the western Asian region, Safavi added.

He went on to say that the power of the United States is waning, and with the formation of the Resistance Axis and the guidance of Islamic Revolution Leader and late Imam Khomeini (RA), nations take control of their own fate.

“The Americans and the Zionists are the major threats that may wage a proxy war in in the region,” Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi said on Sunday in a ceremony attended by the military officials in the Province of Fars.

He added “a proxy war is a possibility, and we have learned to examine different scenarios and have a plan for every possible threat.”

The Iranian Leader’ top military adviser added that the armed forces have prepared themselves for tackling any problems and the police force are also ready to prevent any social unrest and insecurity both inside the country or on the borders.

Pointing to the importance of the West Asia region in the world, Safavi said, “major powers beyond the region are in a strategic and geopolitical competition for Western Asia, and it is expected that the region will be the most volatile region for the next 12 years.”

Meanwhile, he said that the Americans and the Zionists are in a weaker position compared to 10 years ago as they have shown in their failure to topple the Syrian government despite huge efforts.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Iranian Leader’ top military adviser called Trump an imbalanced man who has waged an economic war against Iran alongside other industrial countries, adding that his talks with North Korean leader will not yield any results.
