World Para Athletics C’ships: Iran’s Ahmadi Claims Bronze

Mohammadreza Ahmadi won a bronze medal at the Dubai 2019 World Para Athletics Championships on Thursday.

In the Men’s Shot Put F33, Ahmadi claimed the bronze with a throw of 11.09 meters.

Aleksandr Khrupin from Russia won the gold medal with 11.21 meters.

Kamel Kardjena from Algeria seized the silver with an 11.14 effort.

More than 1,400 athletes from 120 nations are competing in the World Championships from November 7 to 15.

Iran’s Amanollah Papi won a silver medal at the Dubai 2019 World Para Athletics Championships on Thursday.

In the Men’s Javelin Throw F57, Papi won the silver with a throw of 47.80 meters.

The gold medal went to Cicero Valdiran Lins Nobre from Brazil who threw 49.26m.

Mohamad Mohamad from Syria won the bronze with 46.01m.
